Composting Tips

Composting fertilizes and feeds the soil with a diversity of nutrients and microorganisms that improve plant growth.  Chemical fertilizers, on the other hand, provide a quick burst of a limited number of nutrients that can wash away into local bodies of water and can be very unhealthy for us and our environment.  Compost increases soil stability, improves drainage, helps retain moisture and keeps unnecessary garbage out of landfills.

Here are some websites that have great composting techniques. Stay tuned; hopefully we can get some videos to show you how to compost your new compostable to go containers.
